Marixa
Originally from Colombia, Marixa moved to the United States at the age of 11, carrying with her the values of resilience, family, and a deep appreciation for learning. From a young age, she understood the transformative power of education and how it can shape not only the mind but also the spirit of a child.
With more than 20 years of experience in education, Marixa has dedicated her career to creating opportunities for children to discover and develop their unique strengths. For the past seven years, she has served as a Director — a mentor to teachers, a partner to families, and a champion for every child who walks through her doors.
Melanie
Melanie knows Meridian Montessori from every angle — as a parent and as a leader. She brought all three of her children through Meridian and loved the school so much that she joined us as our Assistant Director.
Her firsthand experience as a Meridian parent gives her a unique understanding of what families need and value. She brings warmth, empathy, and genuine care to every interaction, and her dedication to the Montessori community is felt by every family that walks through our doors.
Prachi
When Prachi enrolled her daughter at Meridian Montessori, she quickly saw the difference an authentic Montessori education makes. She valued the experience so much that when her infant twins arrived, the decision was easy — she chose to enroll them at Meridian as well.
